Supply, Training, Safety and Vendor Management

Quarry Mining is currently preferred the supplier to over 20 underground coal mines along the east coast of Australia and in New Zealand.  Some of our major clients include Xstrata, Centennial Coal, LDO and Anglo Coal. Our relationship with our customers is built having dedicated staff for each individual site who, themselves are experienced underground coal miners and can ensure the correct products are supplied.  Additionally, staff can provide training and safety advice on all our products and in many cases, formally vendor manage stock for mine staff.  Many site trials have been undertaken in close liaison with mine personnel to optimise safety and usability of our product and to ensure each product is customized specific to the conditions and challenges faced at each individual site.  

Thiess – Airport Link

Quarry Mining has been successfully servicing Australia's largest infrastructure project, the Brisbane Airport Link, over its six separate tunneling sites since the project's inception in 2009.  Various drilling configurations are required to meet challenging conditions and deadlines, and suit the wide variety of jumbo drilling machinery as well as hand drilling requirements.  In addition to the drilling consumables we provide a comprehensive service of air powered tools from Rock Drills to scablers and all accompanying hose and fitting necessities.
